It is important to have a healthy sense of self-esteem and always love yourself and your body.
When you love yourself, things simply become lighter and easier. When you love your body, you're more confident with your imperfections and you're more likely to have healthier fitness and nutritional habits. You won’t make as many mountains out of molehills. You won't beat yourself up or drag yourself down over mistakes or temporary setbacks. When you truly love yourself, you’ll stop trying to get so much validation and attention from other people. You become less needy and find inner strength and stability even when the world might be negative or uncertain at times.
Loving yourself also makes you feel more deserving of good things in life. You go after what you want with more motivation and focus.
